Do you offer Closed Caption or other hearing assist devices? Yes. We provide closed caption and audio description devices in most of our theaters upon request.
Do you have parking available? Yes. Free parking is available.
What is ATMOS, and what makes our NY Penthouse sound system so unique? Dolby ATMOS is an advanced surround sound technology that creates a unique three-dimensional audio experience by adding height channels, allowing sounds to move freely in a dome pattern around the listener. It enhances traditional surround sound by enabling individual sounds to be treated as singular moving objects, providing a more immersive listening experience. Our NY Dine-In Penthouse is fitted with a 128-channel Dolby ATMOS system and paired with a state of the art 4k Laser projection. This combination creates one of the most immersive and highest technologically advanced systems in the Portland market.
How does Studio One Theaters dine-in movie watching experience work? Is this a place if we only want to watch a movie? Studio One Theaters is a farm-to-table scratch-made restaurant providing some of the highest quality ingredients for any restaurant in the Portland market. Our fish is flown in daily. We have fresh, never frozen, King Salmon year round. We work with only the highest quality protein providers and source organic vegetables. We have a professional staff of chefs, bartenders, servers and runners rivaling the staff you would find in any fine dining restaurant in the Portland Metro. Purchasing a movie ticket at Studio One Theaters carries the expectation that you and your guests will be joining us for a meal and allowing us to provide you all with this unique and elevated experience. We have an award winning bar with a full cocktail menu, 12 beers on tap including NA options, 50 wines by the glass and one of the most deeply curated wine-by-the-bottle lists in all of Portland.
When should I arrive for a movie to get the best experience including ordering my meal? We suggest our guests arrive 30 minutes before their movie's scheduled start to allow for menu review and proper time to have your order prepared with the least disturbance to viewing your movie.
How do I order my food and drinks? Is this done from my seat? When you arrive, a host will walk you and your party back to your seats. During this walk-back, fully 'expect' that your host will share details about the menu & daily menu specials. We have a highly skilled chef staff so be sure to pay attention as these specials will change often. The host will leave you with menus to review for a few minutes. We take this step with our hosts to help minimize the impact of our servers on your enjoyment of the experience in our unique Dine-In Penthouses. Next, one of our professional servers will be by your seat to take your food and drink orders. Your meal & beverages will then be delivered directly to you at your seat.
Does Studio One Theaters offer Gluten Free, Vegetarian, and Vegan options? Yes. You can find our food menus HERE. You can note food options below the food item descriptions.
Can we bring outside food or drinks? NO. We are a farm-to-table restaurant with a full staff of professional chefs, bartenders, servers, runners and management curating a unique blend of a fine dining and movie-going experience. Just as no other fine dining restaurant would allow guests to bring in outside food to eat at their tables, we do not allow guests to bring in outside food to our establishment either. If food is found, 'expect' that one of our staff may ask to take that food & place it in a safe place until your Dine-In movie experience has completed and you can retrieve it upon exiting the building.
What is your ticket policy and what about refunds? Can I change my tickets to a different time, date, or movie?

There are No Refunds for purchased tickets or for paid fees, whether the purchase occurred online or at our box office.
Ticket exchanges are only allowed 72 hours or more before your purchased ticket's stated showtime and change fees will apply for any changes or modifications from the original ticket purchase, including for change of movie selection, date, time, or seat. Studio One Theaters reserves the right to change selected seat assignment at the time of final seating. If Studio One Theaters is required to make changes to a seat assignment, typically due to capacity, no change fee will apply.
Studio One Gift Cards can be used to cover the costs of movie tickets, fees, food & beverages.
Readmit passes or Movie Passes will cover the cost of the movie ticket, but fees will need to be paid for separately.
By completing the purchase of a movie ticket, you acknowledge you have reviewed and accepted these policies.
This same acknowledgement is a required part of the online ticket checkout process each time when purchasing a movie ticket at Studio One.
Do you have a discount ticket day? Studio One Theaters has a Brunch meal service on Saturday and Sunday each week from 9am until 12pm. (Check our website for movie times that start between these hours as the actual times may vary slightly.) During this special Brunch meal service time, movie tickets can be purchased at discount to enjoy with this special Brunch menu. EXCEPTION- We do show certain movie premieres in which the production studio will not allow special or discount ticket pricing. In those cases, by contract Studio One must follow the studio's direction to not sell discounted tickets for those specific movies. Pricing on Studio One's website will reflect correct movie prices.
How do I redeem my readmit or free movie pass? Movie passes (or readmits) can be redeemed in one of 3 ways. Instructions for any of these and our specific Movie Pass Policy can be found HERE.
Do you offer Gift Cards? Yes. You can purchase Gift Cards HERE. Gift Cards can be used to cover the costs of tickets, fees, food and beverages. NOTE: Studio One Theaters gift card are currently ONLY sold on our Studio One Theaters website or in our theater at the box office. We do not sell gift cards online through any other website or retailer. Please be careful to only purchase authentic gift cards through Studio One Theaters. Any other source will be a scam and we will not be able to honor these.
What is the Studio One Theaters Connoisseur Club? The Studio One Connoisseur Club is our way of expressing gratitude for choosing our one of a kind, elevated dining and cinema experience by treating you to one movie ticket per every 150 loyalty points earned. The program is simple! 1$ spent dining with us = one loyalty point. On your next visit or booking on the phone, present your card for any movie ticket, food or beverage purchase from a buttered popcorn to a Bordeaux blend to earns points. You can check your point balance at any time over the phone or in person. Once you have enough points, you can redeem them at any time for the purchase of your next movie ticket. Please note there may be additional fees for booking over the phone or online. There are no restrictions on how many seats you are able to reserve at one time, your loyalty balance permitting. Better yet, that evening’s cocktails, local draft beer, grass fed steak or delicious vegetarian chili very likely buys a seat for your next visit with us!
How do I redeem my Connoisseur Club free movie tickets? To redeem your Connoisseur Club free movie ticket pass you will follow the same steps above for redeeming a free movie pass.
What is your 21+ policy? Showtimes listed under the option “21+” are restricted to ages 21 and over. With the exception for some PG and PG-13 releases, ages “21+” applies to most showtimes starting after 4pm.
Can we bring our own blankets? Yes. Studio One also sells blankets from our store (please ask your Servers).
Can we bring our pets? No. We are a restaurant first and, per regulations, cannot allow pets. Service animals must be labeled and appropriately documented & licensed. Expect that one of our staff will ask to see current valid documentation for any service animal.
